I really enjoy surfing your site and its links. Amateur radio has gone through a lot of changes since I started back in 1959. You and your groups have put a new spark into the hobby.

I have been aware of your website for sometime and having just added a link to it on a different laptop, I just wanted to add my congratulations and thanks for a most useful source of helpful information. Well done indeed.
Regards,
Andy
PS; perhaps some clever techie person/s will take up the challenge of rectifying the Vista inspired snags with VOAProp? It works fine except I have to enter my QTH each time I fire it up. Not the end of the world just a tad annoying.

Great website, can't wait to read it. It's been 10 years since I've been active in ham radio and the bug has bit me again. I'm researching the FT-817 thinking it would be a good low cost rig to re-enter the hobby. A back injury has kept me from working so low cost is important. My renewed interest in ham radio has broken my months of being depressed and I look forward to learning about what's new in radio technology. Your website will make this endeavor all the more enjoyable...

Just returned to ham radio after a 25 year layoff. Acquired an Elecraft K2 a few days ago which has been built very nicely by another ham, and purchased an SGC-239 yesterday. Currently running an indoor loop antenna with a Yaesu ft-101zd and tuner at 25 watts successfully and looking forward to changing over to my Elecraft on 10 watts or so. Have started saving for a K3!! Love the site, excellent software and very informative. Best regards, Martin

Hi, I am glad I stumbled across your site while researching Elecraft. After many, many years putting it off, I have decided to finally make a move to get my HAM license. At my prospective QTH may have some antenna restriction, so I am glad to read how you overcame yours.
