Excellent .. love the useful comments on QRP and antennas. This afternoon on 40 metres the standard rig was 400 watts into a g5rv.. no one noticed that my 35 watts into a long wire was a few s points down..

HF Prop is one of the best programmes I have ever seen. It is used for Propagation forecasting on the Radio Amateur Invalid and Blind Club Member's Home Page by kind permission of G4ILO.

Nice job, Julian. Extremly well laid out and lots of useful info. I really like your K2 station and your "stealth" approach to amateur radio.

I lived in the UK for 5.5 years from 1979 thru 1984. I was stationed in the USAF and lived in Studlands Park, Newmarket, East Anglia, where I was unable to have an outside antenna. A odd size dipole stapled to the roof timbers in the loft fed to a Ten-Tec Argonaut 515 via some 600 ohm open wire feedline was all I needed to work the world.

Hope to meet you and work you one day soon.

Great looking station! Like you, I too live in an area where antennas can not be seen. I am currently uing the gutter and downspouts on my home. My rig is a Icom 746 Pro with a long wire tuner. I routinely work ConUS and lower provinces of Canada with 30 watts 75-20m SSB. I am unable to give you any information on 10m as it is yet to open.
